The Spirit of the Position: The Overnight Inventory Clerk adheres and enforces the Parking Meters inventory control program under the direction of the Inventory Supervisor to ensure 24/7 professional inventory controls. Principal Job Duties:
Manage, track, audit, report, and distribute inventory for the Parking Meter System.
Knowledgeable of operational objectives, policies and standard operating procedures.
Ensure equipment is in good working order and that keys, canisters, parts, phones, GPS device, and other items are secure at all times.
Follow all procedures outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures manual.
Assist the Inventory Supervisor to implement and complete other projects, programs, and initiatives that may arise from the operation of the department.
Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must have a Valid Driver's License.
Basic computer skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Maintain a professional appearance.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Should be able to work standard business hours.
Able to work unsupervised.
Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience:
2+ years in Inventory Control or relevant experience is preferred.
Parking industry experience is preferred.
Skills:
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
Must be open to feedback, differing opinions and other points of view.
Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness.
Demonstrate the ability to seek improvement.
Excellent teambuilding and interpersonal skills.
Ability to produce and maintain an acceptable driving record and unrestricted drivers’ license.
Physical Demands:
Willingness to work in the elements – heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
Ability to lift, push and pull at least 25 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
