Outside Sales Representative

Job Title: Sea Fox Sales Representative
Department: Sales
Reports to: Director of Sales/Vice President of Sales
Job Overview:
A Sea Fox Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales of Sea Fox boats to both new and existing dealerships. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with key dealers, identifying business opportunities, and promoting Sea Fox products and services in the marine industry both nationally and internationally.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marine environments and saltwater products, coupled with excellent sales and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales & Business Development:
    • Identify and target new business opportunities. Signing new dealerships for potential growth.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with existing dealers to foster repeat business and referrals.
    • Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
    • Provide expert advice to customers regarding the best products for their wants and needs.
  • Product Knowledge:
    • Stay current with the latest products, technologies, and trends in the marine industry.
    • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to current dealerships and prospective dealerships.
    • Understand and communicate technical specifications about Sea Fox boats.
  • Customer Support & Service:
    • Provide exceptional customer service and post-sale support.
    • Maintain positive working relationships to ensure high levels of dealer satisfaction.
    • Coordinate with customer service and technical teams to address dealer inquiries and concerns.
  • Sales Strategy & Reporting:
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet market demands.
    • Prepare regular sales reports, including market trends, customer feedback, and progress toward sales goals.
    • Monitor competitor activity and adjust sales tactics accordingly.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the marketing team to align sales and promotional efforts.
    • Collaborate with the production teams to ensure timely product delivery.
    • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the company’s products and services.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Experience:
    • At least 2-3 years of experience in the sales industry.
  • Skills:
    • Strong sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to understand and explain complex products.
    • Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
    • Highly motivated, self-starter with strong time-management and organizational skills.

Working Conditions:
  • This position may require frequent travel to visit clients, attend trade shows, and conduct site visits.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours based on client needs and time zones.
