Outreach Coordinator - Addiction and Mental Health Services
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Outreach Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing outreach strategies to connect individuals and communities with our addiction and mental health PHP and IOP services. The Outreach Coordinator will serve as a liaison between our organization and community partners, Doctor offices, Hospitals and therapists, promoting awareness, education, and access to our programs. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage with community organizations, healthcare providers, schools and local government agencies. - Build and maintain relationships with community partners to facilitate referrals and collaborations. - Conduct presentations, workshops and training sessions to promote our services and educate community members about addiction and mental health. - Identify and participate in community events, health fairs and conferences to raise awareness about our services. - Develop marketing materials, social media content and outreach campaigns to target specific populations. - Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless referral processes and coordination of care. - Track outreach efforts, referrals and community engagement metrics for reporting and evaluation purposes. - Stay up-to-date on best practices in outreach and engagement, incorporating research and evidence-based approaches. Requirements: - Must have experience with addiction and mental health - Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., social work, psychology, public health). - 2+ years of experience in outreach, marketing or community engagement, preferably in addiction/mental health. - Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse populations. - Basic understanding of addiction and mental health issues. - Familiarity with community resources and social services. Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree in a related field. - Experience working with electronic health records (EHRs) and CRM software. - Certification in addiction or mental health (e.g., CAC, LCSW). - Bilingual or multilingual skills.
