Non-filing Clerk

The United Firm | La Liga Defensora, APC in Dallas is looking for a Non-Filing Clerk for the Criminal Defense Department. As a Non-filing clerk, you will be assigned administrative and clerical tasks such as; retrieving files, distributing mail, making copies, scanning documents, and generating new files for new contracts. This position reports to the assigned Criminal Defense Attorney.
Primary Responsibilities:

Making calls to agencies including police stations, district attorneys, city attorneys' offices, and courthouses. (calls, faxes and/or emails)
Follow instructions from the supervising member and perform accordingly
Update our platforms with relevant information on clients' arrest
Update legal teams
Statute of limitations - Learn the SOL of each state and know when one expires
Detail oriented

Required Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
Administrative experience.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
