New Club Fitness Director

**Job Overview:**
JOB SUMMARY:
This position consists of 90% travel. When the club is assigned to the New Club Fitness Director they will be in that location for 3 months until assigned the next location with one week off in between assignments. Please ensure you are able to commit before submitting the application. Travel expenses covered by Crunch Fitness, Fitness Ventures LLC
The Fitness Manager ensures that the club delivers a fitness experience to all members.
Responsible for communicating and upholding company standards and leading by example. Ensure that team members consistently execute the basics in punctuality, dress code compliance, friendliness, and cleanliness. Hires, trains, and develops a dedicated team of Personal Trainers. Responsible for the successful attainment of department targets, including revenue and member retention.
Is the point of reference for fitness expertise within the club.
SPAN OF CONTROL / ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP / PEOPLE MANAGEMENT:
Job Scope: 1 Location for a duration of 90 days.
This position directly manages the following positions inside the club:
Personal Training Director
Training Manager (if club size warrants)
Elite Trainers
Master Trainers
Personal Trainer
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES ARE BUT NOT LIMITED TO.
Club Capacity > 80%.
Performance to budget > 100%
Location KPI’s surrounding (Opportunities Sold, Completed and Enrolled)
Client Retention > 90%
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Hire develop and manage performance of qualified PT, MIT, PTM and Assistant PT Managers
Conduct daily (or as-needed) meetings with direct reports to review performance and offer direction, motivation, and guidance toward achieving individual and company goals.

Offer career growth and advancement opportunities as warranted.
Ensuring
Employee Payroll is completed on time and accurate.
Ensure home location is in top operational performance prior to supporting additional locations with travel.
Manage all PT, MIT, PTM and Assistant PT Manager schedules including staying within assigned PT Margins
Mediates club employee relations matters for all club fitness employees.

Discipline staff under the guidance of your direct supervisor.
Regularly train staff on industry updates and teach Personal Trainers to be continually successful to ensure that all clients are trained professionally.
Sales and Service are managed effectively through consistent development of training team.
Responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue objectives set forth by the company with regards to personal training services.

Establish goals for locations and staff.
Train staff on sales techniques to improve conversions, create referrals, process for floor pulls, etc.
Develop marketing programs to; promote the trainers, create energy through innovative events, post engaging video through all SM platforms.

Support, follow up and maintain a high standard of all cleaning system protocols.
Regularly train, support, and maintain the standards of all Group Exercise classes.
Your supervisor may assign additional responsibilities based on the needs of the market and franchise group.
EDUCATION LEVEL:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Master’s Level Degree in business or related field.
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to work in club office; move about club floors and rooms; review, revise, create club paperwork; communicate with employees, members, and the public
Regularly required to demonstrate or explain proper physical fitness activities, techniques, and procedures. Regularly required to lift to fifty pounds.
Travel: Must be able to travel by car and airplane up to 80% of the time.
TIME REQUIREMENTS
This is an exempt position with a minimum of 50-hour work weeks, these hours may vary depending on travel and business request. Your supervisor may assign additional hours based on the needs of the Club. Approval may be requested for an “admin” day when necessary and fits the needs of the Club.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years Personal Training Experience
- Minimum of 3 years Fitness Management experience
- Demonstrated the ability to Employee, Manage and Retain a minimum of 30 Personal Training Employees.
- Demonstrated the ability to maintain a 40% sit rate and a 10% enrollment rate of new members.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
