Music Teacher ( Guitar Teacher)

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Guitar Teacher with a heart for working with children. If you are enthusiastic about sharing your love of music and providing personalized, one-on-one instruction, we invite you to apply for this rewarding role. As a Direct Support Professional, you’ll be providing in-home guitar lessons tailored to each child’s unique needs, while offering compassionate support to help them thrive musically.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide engaging, one-on-one piano lessons tailored to the child’s needs and abilities.
Foster a supportive, fun learning environment that encourages musical growth.
Collaborate with family to create individualized lesson plans.
Act as a positive, dependable mentor, guiding the child’s development through the joy of music.

Requirements

High School Diploma (required); degree in music education or related field is a plus.
A passion for music and dedication to student development.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to create a nurturing learning environment.
Experience in classroom management and effective teaching strategies.
Ability to educate diverse groups of students, including children and adults.
Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire students.
Previous experience in tutoring or adult education is advantageous.
