Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Worker to join our team at our Crisis Residential location. In this role, you will work with, provide transportation and support to adults with mental health diagnoses in Covington County. Qualifications:
Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
Must possess the ability to cook, clean, organize, and set and enforce behavioral limits.
Must demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must possess maturity, confidence, and emotional stability.
Must have the physical strength necessary to implement Managing Crisis Safely (MCS) interventions, including the ability to lift up to 85 pounds and push/pull up to 150 pounds.
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, reach, bend, and stoop as required to assist in consumer care during shifts.
Must become Medication Assistance, Certified (MAC) worker to assist with medications and other nursing tasks as delegated once hired.
Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities:
Work with consumers in a residential setting who have mental health diagnoses.
Provide transportation and support to adults with mental health diagnoses in Butler County.
Cook, clean, organize, and set and enforce behavioral limits.
Work independently and as part of a team to ensure comprehensive care for consumers.
Implement Managing Crisis Safely (MCS) interventions as necessary.
Assist with medications and other nursing tasks as delegated.
