Join our team! The Duke Center for Living at Fearrington is accepting applications for a Member Services Associate to work 10 hours per week. The Member Services Associate supports the work of the Member Services Manager, assists and supports the daily operations of the Member Services front desk, and plays an important role in providing excellent service to members, residents and guests (appointment scheduling, payment and merchandise sales, general inquires, initiates and completes membership sales). Also assists with emergency services as needed. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Greeting members and addressing member inquiries both in person and via telephone.
Scheduling appointments and enrolling participants in programs.
Touring prospective members; processing new and renewal contracts
Processing point of sale transactions and balancing cash drawer each shift
Assisting with marketing efforts and member retention.
Attend department related meetings.
All other duties assigned include, but not limited to, enhancing the Resident and Member Experience.
Requirements:
High School diploma.
Associates degree in related field preferred.
Two years customer service experience
CPR/AED certified within three months of hire.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; computer skills; cash handling skills; ability to perform multiple tasks at same time.
