*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our team at a busy medical clinic. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and excellent patient service. *Duties* - Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner - Schedule patient appointments accurately - Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims - Maintain and update patient medical records - Handle medical billing and collections - Manage medical office administrative tasks efficiently - Coordinate with healthcare providers for patient care *Skills* - Proficient in patient service and interaction - Knowledge of dental terminology is a plus - Experience in medical office management is preferred - Ability to perform insurance verification tasks - Skilled in medical scheduling procedures - Familiarity with maintaining medical records accurately - Understanding of health information management practices - Previous experience in a medical office setting is beneficial - Capability to handle medical collection processes effectively - Experience working in a dental clinic is advantageous
