Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Laboratory Manager and technical guidance of the Pathologist, the Clinical Laboratory Technician/Medical Laboratory Technician is responsible for independently obtaining, registering, and testing patient samples, as well as delivering results to healthcare providers in a hospital laboratory setting. They also contribute to the general upkeep of the laboratory, including maintenance of equipment and supplies. Additionally, the technician must demonstrate competency in performing, troubleshooting, and accurately reporting all routine clinical laboratory tests and procedures with general supervision. They may also assist in training other personnel as needed. The technician is expected to interpret data based on knowledge of physiological conditions affecting test results, recognize issues, identify causes, and implement solutions. Benefits:

Requirements:
Current certification as a Clinical Laboratory Technician or Medical Laboratory Technician through NCA, ASCP, AMT or exam eligible. (Employees with Military Degrees are exempt.)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
