Job description:
Profession: Laboratory
Specialty: Medical Lab Scientist
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30)
Description: This position is for a BLOOD BANK LEAD.
5x8S, Days, 7a-330p
MONDAY - FRIDAY
*first 2 weeks of orientation/training will all be on first shift.
Experience in a hospital setting needed. FIRST TIME TRAVELERS OK!
Requirements:
*Previous Lead experience preferred.
*ASCP MT or ASCP MLS required.
*Hospital Clincal Lab experience required, preferrably blood bank
*Iris Cell, Sysmex XM, WAM
*Complex, Cancer, Sickle
*Vision Analyzer, Manual gel
EPIC experience preferred
COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
Responsibilities
Pay: $1,763.12 - $2,200.32 per week

Responsibilities
- Collect and process biological specimens, ensuring accurate handling and labeling.
- Perform laboratory tests and procedures, including blood sampling, venipuncture, and blood banking.
- Analyze test results and maintain meticulous records in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss findings and ensure quality patient care.
- Stay updated on laboratory techniques and medical terminology to enhance operational efficiency.
Pay: $1,763.12 - $2,200.32 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Medical Lab Scientist: 4 years (Required)
- ASCP MT or ASCP MLS (Required)
- BLS AHA (Required)
- Medical Lab Scientist certification (Required)
- Greensboro, NC (Required)
- Greensboro, NC: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
