Medical Billing Specialist/Front office
Job Summary
The Medical Biller will be responsible for processing medical claims, maintaining patient billing records, and following up with insurance companies.
Duties
- Utilize various systems to submit claims to insurance companies
- Review and verify accuracy of billing and coding
- Communicate with medical offices to obtain missing information
- Handle medical collections and resolve billing discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with medical coding procedures and guidelines
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Update and maintain patient accounts
-Front office answering phones, back up check out
Requirements
- Proficiency in medical billing software and systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology, coding
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding standards
- Experience in a medical office setting is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
