Under supervision of the Operations Supervisor and Quality Assurance Supervisor, in compliance with the Olgam Life Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and State/Federal regulations, Employee has to determine donor suitability for Plasmapheresis. Duties and Responsibilities: · Provide quality customer service by responding to donor needs and expectations in a professional and efficient manner. · Maintain certification and annual re-certification requirements of the Olgam Life Training program. · Knowledgeable in Olgam Life donor/Unit Management systems, state and Federal regulations, FDA approved SOP’s, EMEA, OSHA, CLIA, c GMP and all internal Olgam Life Policies. · Maintain all permanent files and records in an organized and efficient manner. · Proficient in advanced Olgam Life donor/Unit management systems navigation and queries. · Attend all staff meetings and training sessions. · Perform all duties and responsibilities of Biomedical Technician. · Perform vital signs, finger stick and determine hematocrit and total protein values. · Determine donor suitability based upon collected data in records and DMS, SOP and other regulatory agencies. · Assist in installation and validation of new equipment and following repairs. · Prepare applicant donors for physical examination. · Perform final quality control check of records and print bleed labels. · Ensure concurrent, legible and accurate documentation. · Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and organized manner and report all equipment in need of repair. · Report all unsafe situations to supervisor immediately. · Provide training, documentation of training records and administration of exams to Donor processor. · Other duties as assigned. Educational Requirements: · High school diploma or equivalent. · Able to speak, read and legibly write English. · Able to use computer.
