Job Summary: As a Medical Assistant at Medi Freda, you will play a key role in assisting our medical staff with providing top-quality aesthetic treatments and ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction. You will support the clinical operations of our spa by preparing patients for procedures, managing medical records, handling medical supplies, and ensuring a smooth, professional, and luxurious experience for every client. A deep understanding of aesthetics, medical spa services, and a caring, professional demeanor are essential in this role. Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care & Preparation: Assist in preparing patients for various aesthetic treatments, including Botox, dermal fillers, laser services, and body contouring. Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently.
Clinical Support: Prepare and maintain medical equipment, assist with minor procedures, and monitor patients during treatments and post-procedure care.
Patient Education: Provide information to patients regarding pre- and post-treatment care, as well as aftercare instructions for skincare and other services.
Medical Records: Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including updating medical history, treatment plans, and any other relevant information.
Sterilization & Sanitation: Ensure the clinic is sanitized and complies with all healthcare standards, including sterilizing instruments and maintaining a clean, organized treatment environment.
Inventory Management: Manage and maintain medical supplies and products, ensuring the spa is always stocked with necessary items for treatments.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, aestheticians, and the front desk team to ensure seamless patient care and clinic operations.
Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by providing a welcoming environment, answering patient questions, and ensuring a positive overall experience.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in an aesthetic, medical spa, or plastic surgery setting.
Certification in Medical Assisting or similar qualifications (preferred).
Strong knowledge of aesthetic treatments, medical spa procedures, and related medical technologies.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, luxury environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
Compassionate, professional demeanor with a strong emphasis on patient care.
Social media management is a plus
