Overview:

Join our team as a Media Specialist and support the State Family Program Office of the Vermont Army National Guard. You will provide media services for the benefit of Vermont veterans and their families. You will utilize and manage multiple media outlets and platforms to educate and build awareness of the veteran services Family Programs offers to our military families. Work Schedule and Location:

On-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday, in Colchester, VT.

Responsibilities:

Become familiar with the Family Programs Office's existing social media strategy.
Develop content and manage publication/distribution
Continue to implement the existing media strategy, incorporating changes developed per Contractor's
recommendations
Analyze and evaluate media strategy using analytics
Develop media strategy
Report results of analyses and provide recommendations and status reports to the Family Programs Director
The requirement includes in-person attendance at up to 35 events throughout the year; taking publication quality
photos and video to be used in program materials; creating, editing and producing newsletters, press
releases, video and podcast programming; and publication of finished materials, as well as updating the
program's website and social media pages

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree required
3 years of related experience
Ability to travel within the state of Vermont for events

Pay Range (Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and other relevant factors): $ 65,000.00 - $ 68,000.00 /Yr.
