Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues.
Repair damaged structures which involve architectural and painting works at the building premises including common areas and inside residential units.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance procedures.
Plan and schedule repairs.
Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard.
Help develop and implement the budget for the maintenance department.
Maintain inventory records for equipment and supplies.
Assess the condition of surfaces to be painted and prepare them by cleaning, scraping, sanding, or applying a primer.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly and work areas are free from hazardous materials.
Estimate the number of materials needed for painting projects and order supplies as necessary.
Follow established safety and health procedures to prevent occupational hazards.
Perform minor architectural repairs such as patching holes, replacing wood, and other surface preparation.
Document all work completed, including materials used and time spent on each project. Has an ability to use social media applications in communicating with the team.

Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in painting or maintenance is a plus.
Proven experience as a maintenance painter or in a similar role for a minimum of two (2) years.
Knowledge of different types of paints and their applications.
Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
Ability to work on scaffolding or ladders.
Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings. Willing to work with shifting schedules.
Effective problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be well-organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Familiarity with safety protocols and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Prolonged periods of walking.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
