Job Highlights:
At least 5 years of experience as a Qualified Professional (QP) is required.
A Qualified Professional (10A NCAC 27G .0104) must have one of the following:

Bachelor degree (non Human Services) with 4 years Full time OR 8 years Part time applicable experience required

Bachelor degree (Human Services) with 2 years Full time OR 4 years Part time applicable experience required

Master degree (Human Services) with 1 year Full time OR 2 years Part time applicable experience required
This Opportunity:
The purpose of the LTSS Records Coordinator position is to manage the record and service documentation requirements from both a compliance and quality perspective.
What You'll Do:

Manage the LTSS peer review and service documentation systems.

Maintains policy and SOP for all record components and processes.

Monitors assigned records for compliance and quality.

Conducts targeted audits assigned.

Documents review findings.

Provides feedback to responsible employees for improvement and correction purposes. Provides coaching and education as needed for individual employees and teams.

Notifies supervisory staff of any trends of non-compliance or low quality if coaching and education are not effective.

Works with supervisor to maintain forms and processes in Electronic Medical Record that meet all state and agency standards.

Completes an assessment of findings a minimum of quarterly. Present findings to leadership team with recommendations on how to address any trends or patterns. Monitors reporting over time to identify any trends or patterns and provides follow-up interventions to address.

Conducts training regarding compliance as well as quality services as needed.

When requested, review record documentation for new employees and provide coaching.

Complete 6 month assessments of PR form comparing to standards, regulations, and clinical coverage policies, service definitions, and Monarch requirements. Ensure form captures all needed monitoring areas.

Maintain current knowledge of all regulations, clinical coverage policies/service definitions, and Monarch policies and ensure consistent implementation of all.

Ability to assess applicability of requirements to all unique services provided.

Maintain trainings as required and requested

Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and assist in crisis situations

Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all agency policies and procedures

Complete all other relevant responsibilities assigned by the supervisor

Driving and travel will be required. Given the emergency nature of this job, short notice for travel may be given.
