Travel Pay: $2219/week
Local Rate: $41.67/hr
PM available
November and December start dates
8-13 week duration
Experience Suctioning Vents/Trachs Required
Experience Titrating drips required

Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse at Prolink, specializing in Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC), you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients with complex medical needs. You will play a critical role in managing patient conditions, administering treatments, conducting thorough assessments, interpreting vital signs, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Additionally, you will educate patients and their families on care plans and facilitate smooth transitions for ongoing care.
Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care tailored to the unique needs of LTAC patients.
Conduct detailed assessments and continuously monitor patient conditions.
Administer medications, including IV therapies, with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
Interpret vital signs and respond appropriately to changes in patient status.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
Maintain accurate, detailed medical documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Educate patients and families on care plans, treatments, and discharge processes.

Skills

Proficiency in managing ventilators, tracheostomy care, and wound care for complex cases.
Experience in IV infusions, critical thinking in acute settings, and safe patient handling techniques.
Familiarity with electronic health records (e.g., e Clinical Works) and LTAC-specific protocols.
Ability to care for patients with multi-system failure, post-surgical complications, or chronic illnesses.

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
1–2 years of LTAC or acute care nursing experience preferred.
Expertise in managing medically complex cases and long-term critical care is highly desirable.
