Job Summary
As an Emergency Department (ED) Nurse at Prolink, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality, life-saving care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will assess and prioritize patient needs, administer critical interventions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to stabilize and treat patients with acute medical conditions. Your role will involve quick decision-making, effective communication, and compassionate care for patients and their families during challenging situations.
Key Responsibilities

Perform rapid, thorough assessments and triage patients based on acuity.
Administer emergency medications, treatments, and interventions accurately and efficiently.
Monitor and interpret vital signs to respond quickly to changes in patient status.
Operate and manage specialized equipment, including cardiac monitors, ventilators, and IV pumps.
Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and other healthcare professionals to develop and execute treatment plans.
Provide clear, empathetic communication to patients and families in high-stress situations.
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of assessments, treatments, and patient progress.

Skills and Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
2 years of experience in an emergency or critical care setting.
Proficiency in managing trauma, cardiac events, strokes, and other acute conditions.
Strong clinical judgment, multitasking, and crisis management skills.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is a plus.
Familiarity with electronic health record systems and emergency protocols.
