Logistics Associate
Introduction: OCSi Al is the world’s largest producer of single wall carbon nanotubes. In addition to manufacturing the nanotubes themselves, we also create industry-friendly technologies for their use in various materials. OCSi Al’s mission is to improve the specific properties of all base materials, making the world a better place for all living beings. We are pursuing this mission by developing universal nanotube solutions and introducing them into the manufacturing industry.
Job Description: The Logistics Associate reports to the Sales Administrator. Manager This position is responsible for handling inbound/outbound shipments, inventory management on site and at third party logistic (3PL) warehouses.
Responsibility (Tasks):
-Purchase material from supporting OCSi Al factories for stock and sale in the USA
-Manage outgoing shipments – pallets and parcels
-Receive stock shipments and de-bulk, place on shelves, updated CRM to accurately reflect inventory.
-Maintain shipping supplies inventory
-Manage expired inventory
-Manage commercial relationships with related vendors, Fed Ex, DHL, freight forwarders.
-Manage and track inventory at various locations (on site and off site)
-Support importing procedures with selected vendors, agencies
-Ensure that the quality of all logistics services provided meets the required standards
-Discussing and negotiating shipping rates with product carriers.
-Respond to and resolve complaints, rejections and issues with a delivery to customers
-Submit carrier/customs invoices to A/P for payment.
-Develop processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized.
-Coordinate cost and lead time for related shipments with other offices across the organization
Required Qualifications:
-High school diploma/GED
-MS Office proficient.
-Proficient in English
-Knowledge of inventory management and logistics elements.
-Strong organizational and time management skills
-Able to lift 60lbs
Required Experience:
3+ years in a similar role
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
