We are currently seeking a Strategic Analyst to join our team supporting the F-35 Joint Program Office.
What you’ll do:
As a member of the F-35 Product Support Manager's Policy and Standards team, provide analytical expertise to develop, execute and update the F-35 sustainment strategy by developing and updating JPO policies, guidelines and plans to implement the governance processes executing the F-35 sustainment strategy
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for updating the Acquisition Strategy, Life Cycle Sustainment Plan, Sustainment Work Breakdown Structure and other acquisition, sustainment, and planning documentation
- Develop processes to identify risks, risk reduction/mitigation approaches, and improve program planning, control, and execution, including Integrated Master Schedules (IMSs)
- Collaborate with logistics and engineering teams from the U. S. Services and Partner Nations to develop strategies to effectively meet program cost, schedule, and technical requirements
- Support the planning and execution of Colonel (06) and General (2-star) level governance boards of the F-35 Partners addressing logistics, life cycle cost matters and providing oversight to F-35 sustainment efforts
- Prepare reports, project plans, letters, memoranda, briefings, and other documentation as required to support the execution of the program and inform leadership on the status of activities
- Support the mandatory update of the F-35 Cost Analysis Requirements Description (CARD). Ensured the sustainment content and guidance in the CARD was accurate, current, and relevant. The CARD was a priority element in the approval of the F-35 Milestone C/Full Rate Production (FRP)
- Support the planning, updating and execution of the Global Support Solution (GSS) providing an integrated approach for the F‐35 Sustainment Strategy. Managed and updated the GSS architecture and related artifacts
- Attend meetings and program reviews, assist with compiling presentations, written materials, and/or electronic communications as required
- Attend meetings and provide client support onsite/in person when required
Qualifications:
- Experience in acquisition and/or operational logistics support/maintenance engineering
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience
- Prior Do D acquisition support experience to include specific experience in acquisition planning and management
- Demonstrated ability to perform independent work to provide logistics and support system effectiveness analysis, studies and evaluation in support of Do D weapons systems and equipment
- Active DOD Secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree from an institution accredited in the United States
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clients
