Our company has an immediate opening for a talented individual with log loader and other heavy equipment dealing with log processing experience. This position will be part of a team of exceptional crew responsible for off loading, moving, and feeding logs to the sawmill for lumber manufacturing. Positions are also open for experienced log truck drivers.

Log yard operator Responsibilities
Ability to operate equipment such as log loaders and front end loaders
Tasks will include unloading log trucks as they arrive, maneuvering logs to various locations within the log yard
Inspecting equipment prior to use.
Basic routine maintenance of equipment (Topping off fluids, general lubrication, assist in repairs if needed..
Ability to relay information to mechanic if repairs are needed.
Required Skills
Must have experience in within the logging industry
Must have equipment operations experience
Must be able to communicate with fellow workers
Must be able to stand, walk, and enter the equipment to be used. Must be physically capable of lifting 50 pounds, and able to bend over
Required Experience
Must have at least 2 years experience in operating Log loader or similar heavy equipment
High school diploma or GED.

Position Type
Full-Time/Regular plus overtime.
Wage Rate
The wage rate for this position will depend on the candidate’s experience.
In addition to the base wage rate, this position is eligible for a weekly bonus equal to 25% of the base rate.
