Lobby Concierge Security Officer - Part Time - FLEX - $20/hr

JOB TITLE: Flex Lobby Concierge Officer

Sunstates Security is seeking a qualified customer service professional to be a Flex Lobby Concierge Officer at a software company in downtown Raleigh, NC. Candidates must be available for weekends, weekday afternoons, and overnight shifts. This role focuses on providing exceptional service and communication to ensure a safe and secure environment.

Customer service professional

Patrols

Emergency Response

Visitor management

Access control monitoring, Issuing temporary badges

Clerical Duties-Update various spreadsheets

Education, Experience, Licenses, and Certifications

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

A valid NC PPS (Private Protection service) card is a plus

If required for an assigned account, one must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

A customer service professional with reception/lobby experience is a plus.

Physical security experience with access control software experience is preferred but not a requirement.

Knowledge of Windows 11, Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, etc. ), or comparable Email, Microsoft Office, etc. is preferred.

Professional appearance & demeanor are critical to ensure proper representation of Corporate Security.

Possesses excellent communication, both verbal and written(email), and active listening.

Must be reliable, adaptable, and able to commit to work on a flex schedule( on call ).

Self-motivated and detail-oriented are important qualities due to the high level of activity within the department.

You must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. or foreign citizen authorized to work legally in the United States.

Willing to undergo pre-employment drug testing and an extensive background check.

Upon job offer, must be able to provide a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated if prior military.

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment: Office; minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures is expected.

Significant activity: Frequent sitting and walking building patrols up to two + miles depending on shift worked.

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP, and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives. Sun123
