Job Summary:
Maintaining cleanliness in public areas and providing exceptional guest service. This role involves heavy cleaning of lobbies, hallways, and public spaces, as well as escorting guests to rooms, handling luggage, and offering information about facilities and attractions.
The Details:
Position Type: Seasonal
Season Dates: early-May through early-October 2025
Pay: $14.60/hr + tips
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)
Location: Lake Mc Donald Lodge

Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Ability to work alone and often without direct supervision.
- Must have an adaptable approach to daily chores and possesses a flexible attitude.
- Must be organized with an eye for detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and count accurately.
- Knowledge of Company policies and procedures, willingness to comply with both.
- Commitment to keep up the quality of Housekeeping Standards learned during the training period.
- Ability to gain extensive knowledge of the Historic hotel/motor inn as well as of Glacier Park, services, hiking, and attractions.
- Must be a people person who thrives on public contact. Must be friendly, outgoing, enthusiastic and courteous in dealing with guests and co-workers.
- Ability to relate with guests in a courteous and friendly manner. Must be able to handle guest concerns in a professional and tactful manner.
Physical Requirements include:
- Lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds as needed throughout the day. Constant lifting and carrying of supplies and guest luggage throughout the day.
- Constant moving, walking, kneeling, bending, stretching, reaching, carrying heavy objects, and climbing staircases (no elevator available) for up to 8 hours per shift. Handles large amount of baggage by cart or hand.
- Standing for long periods of time, frequent walking up and down stairs, as well as in outdoor areas sporadically throughout the day.
- Pushing a hotel cart or cabin cart up to 50-75 pounds as needed.
- Working safely with required chemicals.
