We’re hiring Housekeeping Inspectors to Live. Work. Explore. this summer!
Job Summary:
Inspecting guest rooms and public areas to verify their status, reporting discrepancies in the property management system, and identifying maintenance issues.
The Details:
Position Type: Seasonal
Season Dates: May through October 2025 (dates vary by location)
Pay: $16.85/hr + tips
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities:
- Inspect rooms, verify and report status and/or discrepancies of rooms and enter into property management system.
- Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in guest rooms or public areas.
- Assist in training Room Attendants as needed.
- Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
- Make sure Personal Protective Equipment is being followed at all times.
- Follow Company and departmental environmental practices, safety practices, and policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be organized and have a great eye for details to ensure quality expectations and standards.
- Ability to speak with others using clear and professional language.
- Ability to support housekeeping team to reach common goals and deadlines.
- Must be proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office.
Physical Requirements include:
- Lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds as needed throughout the day. Constant lifting and carrying of supplies and linens throughout the day.
- Making beds, bending, kneeling, stretching, and reaching as needed for up to 8 hours per shift.
- Standing for long periods of time, frequent walking up and down stairs, as well as in outdoor areas sporadically throughout the day.
- Pushing a hotel cart or cabin cart up to 50-75 pounds as needed.
- Working safely with required chemicals.
- A valid driver’s license with a good driving record is preferred.
