Legacy Church - Funeral and Event Setup Assistant (Part-Time)
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Funeral and Event Setup Assistant. This role involves meticulous attention to detail in preparing for funeral services, events, and receptions. The ideal candidate will exhibit a caring demeanor, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and efficiently in a sensitive environment. Primary Duties:
Assist the funeral director by arranging flowers, preparing photo displays, and managing guest books.
Support the funeral coordinator in setting up and tearing down tables, chairs, and displays for funerals and receptions.
Maintain cleanliness of restroom facilities and the main foyer, and vacuum the auditorium as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Secondary Duties:
Assist in setting up for Church events and classes during non-funeral weeks.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Previous experience in facility maintenance is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
