Lead Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Description
What will you do?
- Documents daily activities including operations and maintenance of boilers, chillers, air handlers, and RO system.
- Works with various departments to troubleshoot and resolve facility-related issues.
- Completes emergency repairs as needed.
- Completes preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems as established in department procedures and audits required by regulatory agencies.
- Orders and maintains inventory of spare parts and consumables.
- Monitors Facilities equipment daily, troubleshooting problems.
- Coordinates the services of outside vendors when necessary.
- Identifies existing and potential operational problems and inefficiencies and recommends resolutions.
- Assists in developing and maintaining required documentation, including but not limited to blueprints, plans, and permits according to company procedures and the requirements of external parties.
- Documents daily facilities equipment operation and maintenance activities. Performs other related duties as the need arises and/or assigned.
- A detailed working knowledge of relevant systems and equipment and the related regulatory requirements needed; proficiency in more than one trade.
- Proven communication, customer service, and technical skills.
- Position is Day Shift Monday-Friday.
- Minimum High school diploma or Equivalent (GED)
- Willing to work overtime as needed and participate in planned Manufacturing shutdown activities w/ overtime.
- Preferred Language is English
- Technical certification in a mechanical and/or electrical trade
