We’re in search of a hard-working team player to join us as a landscaper. You’ll follow the crew leader to perform lawn care and maintenance duties for our customers including mowing, fertilizing, mulching, edging, raking, pruning, and any additional landscaping tasks. Job seekers should take pride in quality workmanship and enjoy working with others.Compensation: $45,000 - $55,000 yearly
Responsibilities:

• Create daily reports of completed work
• Make sure lawn care, groundskeeping, and lawn maintenance duties are completed including mulching, mowing, weeding, fertilizing, raking, edging, and pruning
• Assist your team with customers’ landscape design, landscape construction, landscape installation, and landscape maintenance
• Tend to flower beds using a sprinkler or irrigation system
• Provide clients with recommendations to maintain their landscaping design

Mulch and Material Installation:

• Operate specialized blower trucks to efficiently install mulch, playground chips, and other landscaping materials according to project specifications.
• Perform hand installation of materials as needed, ensuring quality and precision.

Equipment Operation and Maintenance:

• Learn and demonstrate proficiency in the operation of blower trucks and other installation equipment.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure safety and efficiency, reporting any issues to supervisors promptly.

Quality Assurance:

• Adhere to company standards and best practices to ensure high-quality installations that meet or exceed client expectations.
• Follow the scope of work for each job, paying attention to detail to maintain the integrity of the installation.

Customer Service:

• Interact professionally and courteously with clients, addressing any questions or concerns during the installation process.
• Ensure that the work area is left clean and tidy upon completion of each job, enhancing customer satisfaction.

Health and Safety Compliance:

• Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and promote a culture of safety within the team.

Adaptability and Team Collaboration:

Qualifications:

• Candidates must be hardworking, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic
• At least 2 years of experience as a crew member landscaping for residential or commercial properties
• Experience with a variety of hand tools and maintenance equipment including clippers, chain saws, lawnmowers, blowers, edgers, rakes, and hedge trimmers
• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent
• Driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the work site is required

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in landscaping, horticulture, or related fields is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with the operation of heavy machinery or landscaping equipment is advantageous.

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to operate specialized equipment, including blower trucks, with a willingness to learn and improve technical skills.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure quality installations and adherence to project specifications.
• Good physical stamina and strength to handle lifting, bending, and working in outdoor environments for extended periods.
