IT Support I

Description: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic IT Support professional to join our team here at Vandalia Rental. This successful individual will be the front line of our IT Support Desk. You will interact with all levels of internal users needing assistance and support for issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start their career in IT and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What you will do:

Provide first-level technical support to internal users via phone, email, or in-person.
Workstation/laptop and printer troubleshooting and repair
Assist with infrastructure installs, including running networking cables
Team member onboarding hardware/software setup (workstations, laptops, i Pads, i Phones, etc.)
Learn and assist users with low level issues with software such as Salesforce, Rental Man, Microsoft, Ring Central and more
Travel may be required locally

Requirements:

Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts
Certifications such as Comp TIA A+ is a plus
Proficient with Microsoft applications
Maintain a “Customer First” attitude and provide excellent service
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
Must be able to speak, read and write English proficiently
Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR
Authorized to work in the U.S.
