Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant/Toddler teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of our students. As in Infant teacher you will need to create a nurturing environment and care for up to 4 babies alone or with another teacher if there are more then 4 babies. Each baby has their own individualized schedule.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children.
Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their development.
Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social skills and emotional growth.
Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies to guide children’s actions.
Maintain accurate records of children's activities, progress, and any incidents that occur during class.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the classroom setting.
Experience
Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred; experience in babysitting or nannying is also valuable.
Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education.
Familiarity with behavior management techniques to support children's learning experiences.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
Experience working with children who have special educational needs is a plus.
