Individual & Group - Substance Abuse Counselor
Our organization is looking for a Substance Abuse Counselor to provide support and guidance to individuals struggling with addiction. The ideal candidate will have a background in addiction medicine and behavioral health and will be able to provide evidence-based treatment plans that are tailored to each individual's needs. The successful candidate will also be responsible for conducting assessments, providing counseling services, and developing relapse prevention plans. Individuals willing and able to incorporate faith-based/spirituality counseling is preferred, as it is in high demand.
Responsibilities:
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 25 per week

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of clients to determine their needs and goals.
- Provide individual, family, and group counseling sessions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with other professionals in the field of addiction medicine and psychiatry.
- Provide crisis intervention services to clients in need.
- Educate clients about the effects of substance abuse on their physical and mental health.
- Monitor progress of clients and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Conduct telehealth sessions.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
