JOB TITLE:
Office of the President - Part Time Office Assistant
JOB PURPOSE:
Provide supplementary office staff support in the Office of the President
JFNTMP
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Interact with students, faculty and staff as needed
Perform basic reception duties: errands, answer the telephone, take messages, transfer calls, answer standard questions, and direct visitors to the appropriate source.
Operate shedder, photocopier, and associated office machines
Sort mail and assist with mailing projects
Assist with scheduling basic meetings and room/equipment arrangements for meetings or special events
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Clean and sanitize frequently touched surfaces in the office
REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:
This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education:
Minimum education High School graduate.
Experience:
Computer experience, experience with maintaining a consistent schedule, experience with adapting between various systems and projects, attention to detail.
Other:
Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the
University Vehicle Use Policy

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with Microsoft Office software,

Must be a reliable and cooperative individual.
Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Desired skills:
familiarity with Word and Excel; ability to alphabetize; organizational skills; phone skills.
