Head Picture Framer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in frame carpentry and be proficient in using various power tools. This role involves constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. The Framer will work closely with other tradespeople to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.
Duties

Construct and install frameworks for buildings, including walls, floors, and roofs.
Utilize power tools and hand tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
Perform heavy lifting as required to move materials and equipment on-site.
Execute trim carpentry tasks to finish interior spaces with precision.
Install siding and other exterior finishes to enhance building aesthetics and protection.
Collaborate with masonry teams for structural integrity and design elements.
Assist in concrete finishing processes as needed for foundations and slabs.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency on the job site.
Follow all safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.

Experience

Proven experience in frame carpentry or related fields is essential.
Familiarity with plastering techniques is a plus.
Experience with masonry work is desirable but not mandatory.
Proficient in the use of power tools, including saws, drills, and nail guns.
Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the day.
Knowledge of installation practices for various building materials is beneficial.
Previous experience in siding installation is an advantage.
Welding skills are a plus but not required.
