Guest Services Lead
seeking an exciting opportunity to create exceptional experiences for patrons and employees.
The Guest Services Lead is a full-time (hourly) opportunity. Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends, and some holidays. What you get to do!
Perform opening & closing procedures for the department.
Supervise Guest Services representatives in their daily work. Assist part time and full time Box Office staff as needed with procedures and event questions.
Lead part time/full time staff by example and suggest corrections as needed
Ensure daily coverage of department stations, including registers and phone support.
Reconcile sales with payment receipts and prepare deposits. Check the accuracy of cash desks.
Respond to patron inquiries and concerns utilizing best practices and guidelines.
Compile and distribute daily sales and financial reports to related departments and presenters upon their (reasonable) request.
Serve as cashier for other departments. Process change requests and accept deposits for delivery to the bank. Check out cash boxes.
Assist in the upkeeping of team procedures and verbiage scripts.
Assist with inquiries and issues from promoters and organizational teams involving tickets, seating, memberships and related areas.
Assist with the processing of season subscriptions and memberships.
Ensure completion of assigned projects, such as outbound phone calls, data entry and cleanup and mailing tickets or informational materials.
Additional responsibilities that may develop as needed.
What you need to have to be successful!
At least 4 years of customer service experience. Supervisory experience preferred, but not required.
Basic computer skills and proficient with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word and Excel.
Able to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Highly efficient in administrative duties and the ability to meet deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
This is a physical job including standing for long periods and lifting boxes at least 30 pounds.
