JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Guest Service Maintenance Associate Reports To: Engineering and Maintenance Manager Direct Reports: N/A Status: Non-Exempt Purpose: The Guest Service Maintenance Associate is responsible for maintaining the repairs of Guest areas at our World Class Resort. The Guest Service Maintenance Associate will play a key role in contributing to our guest satisfaction maintenance support team, and The Buccaneer’s Mission. Essential Functions:
Manage and maintain monthly inspections of all air conditioner/HVAC and AC ducts by servicing all units, changing filters on various ventilation units, and updating work logs.
Coordinate and communicate with the Rooms Division Manager of new task, work order completion, and inventory.
Monitor control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues.
Provide proactive general room electrical, carpentry, and plumbing maintenance.
Assist team Members with tasks such as moving furniture and equipment at various sites; and other departments with the sets up and break down of furniture or other items.
Assist Contractors when hotel rooms are renovated.
Perform monthly inspections of fire extinguishers, and eye wash stations property wide.
Assist with installation of and perform general maintenance of restaurant and kitchen equipment.
Assists with special projects periodically as directed.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Plumbing and/or Electrical Certification or three (3) years proven experience in related field.
Three (3) years minimum air conditioner/HVAC experience or Diploma or certification, preferred.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds, bend, stretch, and stand for an extended period.
