Grill Server & Bartender

The Capitol Hill Club is a premier political social club hosting some of the nations most influential people such as Presidents, Vice Presidents, GOP, Members of Congress, Governors, state party leaders, and more. The Capitol Hill Club is looking for a part-time service bartender to join a group of passionate professionals whose mission is to support the needs of our members and guests and deliver premier services to create great memories.
The core responsibility of the part-time service bartender will prepare, pour and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for servers at the service bar. Occasionally assist bartender with orders from walk-up guests. This is a non-tipped position.
The Capitol Hill Club has the following schedules to fulfill:
Hours :Evening (3:00 PM to 11 PM)

To be successful in the role, youll need the following:

Technical Skills: Some Beer, Wine, Liquor, and common cocktail recipes knowledge
Team player: Works collaboratively together with others to achieve the clubs goals
Work under pressure: Handles high volume of incoming drink orders
Customer Service Oriented: Hands-On approach and willing to go above and beyond the members' expectation to create great memories
Organizational Skills: Results in high-quality timely service

Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations:
Commitment to Excellence.
Stocks bar and complete other pre-opening requirements.
Prepares and serves alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned by manager.
Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.
Push, pull or lift 50 pounds.
Continuous repetitive motions.
Work in a hot, humid, and noisy environment.

Education/Experience/Licenses
Alcohol beverage certification
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Experience in private club/hotel/fine dining operations
One year of related experience and/or training in Restaurant Operations, preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
