General Store Cashier

The Waterwheel Trading Post in Killington, Vermont is seeking a cashier to join our team.
As a cashier, you are responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing customer transactions using a cash register, collecting payments, and making change. Additional duties include stocking shelves and merchandising inventory, assisting in food preparation, and putting away orders. You are a team player, detail-oriented, friendly, and dependable.
Our ideal candidate has customer service experience. Previous cashier experience is preferred.
The Waterwheel Trading Post is open daily from 6:00 AM until 6:00 PM. The schedule for this position is Friday through Tuesday from 1:00 - 7:00 PM. Weekend availability is required.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in a retail environment
Proficiency in operating a cash register and handling cash transactions
Strong communication skills for providing excellent customer service
Familiarity with stocking and merchandising in a grocery store setting
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
