We are looking for a Part-time Receptionist who is enthusiastic, honest, hard-working, organized, and committed to great customer service. Receptionist pay is dependent on skills and experience.
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Located less than 20 minutes from most areas of San Diego, Dalton Toyota, Dalton Hyundai and Dalton Subaru are high-volume, full-service dealerships. Our dealership runs smoothly in large part due to our solid processes and trained, skilled staff, many of whom have been here for twenty years or more.
Some of What You’ll do:
Assist to achieve or exceed financial reporting standards and applicable benchmarks which result in accurate record keeping and profitability.
Ensure issuing of cash receipts, vendor payments, and purchase orders to maintain accurate accounting records and compliance with company standards.
Expedite calls to follow up ensuring positive vendor and customer relationships are maintained as well as follow up on past due customer accounts as needed.
Respond quickly to any invoice requests from A/R customers.
Keep adequate records of past and current invoices as well as supporting documents.
Properly code documents, purchase orders, and invoices according to company procedures.
Resolve and audit discrepancies in accounting records including but not limited to vendor invoices and statements.
Ensure accuracy and timely management of payments to appropriate parties.
Ensure receipting of vendor payments to maintain accurate accounting records and compliance with company standards.
Ensure issuing of cash receipts, maintain accurate accounting records and compliance with company standards.
Run monthly A/R statements on the 1st business day of the month for the prior month. Expedite statement mailing on the same day.
Effectively communicate with Finance and Insurance Mangers, Sales Managers, Service Managers and Parts Managers to strengthen processes.
Create weekly A/R spreadsheet and distribute to managers.
Process deposits daily.
Maintain schedules: A/R, A/P, sublet, cash sales, and others as requested on a weekly basis.
Maintain ability to handle job stress and effective interaction with others in the workplace.
Issue credit memo checks to wholesale customers.
Scan and file all payable documents.
Submit 8300 reports accurately and timely.
Reconcile factory statements monthly.
Post all invoices daily.
Process 1099 forms accurately and timely.
Maintain a professional appearance.
Maintain an accurate time and attendance record in accordance with company policy.
Cross-train others for this position as directed by management.
Perform all duties requested from management.
Operate with integrity.
Demand the highest ethical standards from self and others.
Set an example of outstanding attendance, positive attitude, professionalism, including orderly and safe work environment.
Communicate and resolve customer complaints.
Perform other duties as assigned by ownership, upper management and/or immediate supervisor.
What we are looking for:
Minimum 3-5 years’ related experience
A minimum of a high school diploma or the equivalent
Prior administrative experience preferred.
Excellent computer skills
Attention to detail
Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others
Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Accounting
Automotive Industry experience
Reynolds and Reynolds experience
