Summary of Job Duties:
The UACCM GED® Examiner works under the supervision of the Director of Adult Education and will be responsible for delivering GED® testing services in Clinton and Conway. In addition to the coordination and delivery of testing services, the GED® Examiner will manage the Faulkner County Technology Lending Library. This full-time position will be assigned to the UACCM Adult Education facility in Conway. Daytime and evening hours will be required.
UACCM has been awarded grant funds to support this position from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025.
Job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Conduct GED® testing sessions as directed by the Arkansas Division of Workforce Services – Adult Education Section, GED® Testing Service, and Pearson Vue.
2. Ensure the proper administration and integrity of the GED® testing procedure.
3. Conduct all phases of the official GED® examination process.
4. Responsible for maintaining required documentation.
5. Prepare and submit paperwork and requested reports in a timely manner.
6. Provide uninterrupted attention during testing sessions.
7. Ensure privacy and confidentiality of student records.
8. Communicate with UACCM Adult Education teachers and staff regarding student achievement.
9. Maintain a regular testing schedule that consists of day and evening hours.
10. Participate in required training programs and meet the approval criteria of the Arkansas Chief High School Equivalency Examiner.
11. Manage the UACCM Adult Education Technology Lending Library for Faulkner County.
12. Provide administrative assistance to English Language Acquisition teachers.
13. Attend professional development programs as required by Arkansas Adult Education.
14. Participate in monthly staff meetings.
15. Other duties as assigned.
