Salary Range: $42,868.80 - $66,476.80
Hiring Range: $42,868.80 - $54,683.20

Greenville Utilities seeks individuals to perform natural gas pipeline work. Duties include: the construction of natural gas mains and services; spotting utility facilities; checking and repairing gas leaks; responding to customer requests; responding to emergency conditions; backfilling excavation trenches; ensuring vehicles are stocked with necessary materials and equipment; and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of Commission vehicles, hand tools, and gas powered and pneumatic tools.

Requirements

Preferred candidate should possess prior utility construction, service work, or gas pipeline experience.
Valid North Carolina Class A Commercial Driver’s License or the ability to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver's License within six months of employment
Graduation from an accredited high school or G.E.D.

Typical work schedule is 4 days/10 hours per day; Monday- Thursday or Tuesday-Friday; 7:00 am – 5:30 pm.
