IT Systems Coordinator
Join our dynamic team at DPAC as a Part-Time IT Systems Coordinator! In this role, you'll play a crucial part in maintaining and securing our network and computer systems. You'll be responsible for installing antivirus and malware protection, addressing employee tech concerns, creating helpful documentation, and generating insightful reports. Your role will also involve collaborating with DPAC’s IT Manager to explore new technologies that could enhance our systems. We're looking for someone who can proactively identify and resolve issues, set up new users, assist with managing our firewall, configure Cisco and/or HP switches, and ensure our internet connection is secure. What You’ll Do:
Respond to employee concerns regarding the use of computer systems and applications: Provide support and troubleshooting for employees experiencing technical issues.
Set up new users and give them access to the network systems: Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring new employees have the necessary access.
Assist the maintenance and security of the company’s network and computer systems: Ensure all systems are running smoothly and securely, performing regular updates and maintenance.
Install and operate antivirus or malware protection software: Implement and manage security software to protect the company’s data and systems from threats.
Identify any problems in the system, anticipate potential issues, and repair systems and software when necessary: Proactively monitor systems for issues and perform necessary repairs and updates.
What You’ll Bring:
Ability to help staff with day-to-day requests from email, phone calls, and walk-ins: Provide prompt and effective support for daily technical issues.
Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and Windows Server operating systems: Proficiency in managing these systems is essential.
Hands on knowledge of network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and other systems: In-depth understanding of network and security principles.
Have a solid understanding of network terms and operations in an HP and/or Cisco environment: Utilize knowledge of HP and Cisco Systems to manage and troubleshoot network issues.
