The Development Coordinator manages the JCC’s fundraising, stewardship and engagement efforts. Supervised by the Executive Director, the Development Coordinator works with executive staff, program staff and board members to create strategies to attract new donors, engage existing ones, provide stewardship for gifts of all sizes, and advance the organization’s financial goals. The Development Coordinator will also lead the effort to measure the impact of the agency and its programs. This includes developing data collection systems, training staff on best practices, analyzing and reporting on data, and translating results into marketing materials to further development efforts. Primary Responsibilities Development & Fundraising Design and execute plans to conduct outreach and communication with JCC donors and potential donors. Create, implement and coordinate direct mail, social media and e-philanthropy campaigns in coordination with the marketing department. Manage and maintain donor database. Analyze data trends to identify strategies for donor engagement and inform communication efforts. Lead fundraising campaigns and special events, including:
Participating in the design process for marketing materials.
Managing the solicitation process.
Maintaining personal contact on a regular basis with a portfolio of donors.
Entering donations into the fundraising database, and generating donation acknowledgments.
Tracking gifts and campaign progress.
Work with program and administrative staff to ensure data is being accurately collected for use in grant reports, impact statements, and internal planning. 2. Program Evaluation Work with program staff to create and monitor data collection processes. Parse, process and evaluate data from a variety of sources to create metrics for success. Report on key agency indicators, and leverage data to drive decision making. 3. Financial & IT Log all pledges and donations in the JCC’s fundraising software.
