Mindfully Psychiatry is seeking a Front Office Specialistto join our office in Marion, OH.This position plays a key role in patient care, working with our psychiatry providers and other staff to provide the best in patient care. This role will be full-time, working Monday through Thursday, 10 hour shifts. Pay rate: $17-$18 per hour. Responsibilities
Collaborates with scheduling staff and physician(s) in the coordination of appointment scheduling.
Answers the telephone promptly and courteously, screen calls, takes messages, provides information and follows up on patient issues in a timely manner.
Perform provider support functions such as completing prior authorizations, prescription refills, checking Ohio Automated Rx Reporting System, and other duties.
Schedules patient appointments and procedures ordered by the providers.
Follows system and office policies and procedures with special attention to attendance and punctuality, confidentiality, dress code and display of ID badge, and safety.
Completes mandatory education and training to maintain organization and department specific competencies and requirements.
Assisting with front office responsibilities and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Basic knowledge of medical terminology
Must have proficient computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
1-3 years’ experience working as a medical receptionist in a medical office
Knowledge of Electronic Health Records systems
