Fractional Controller
Title: Fractional Controller
Location: Charlottesville, VA
Status: Part Time - Exempt (80 billable hrs / month). Open to Full-Time and/or growing to FT
Compensation: Salary range: $60,000 - $75,000

What will I do?
Support FFI’s books practice with your excellent accounting and leadership skills. As part of the team, your client responsibilities may include:
- Leading the monthly close process and provide controlling oversight
- Supporting and mentoring staff
- Managing client restricted accounting and related processes
- Reviewing client financial reporting
- Love of Balance Sheets (and all financial statements)
- CPA Strongly preferred or extensive nonprofit accounting experience
- At least 10 years of professional accounting experience
- High attention to detail and excellent technical accounting skills
- Experience with Quickbooks Online
- Or other accounting information systems
- Passionate about nonprofits
- Delighted by well-designed spreadsheets
- Enjoys working with a variety of clients
- Proficiency with Google Workspace
