Title: Fractional Controller Location: Charlottesville, VA Status: Part Time - Exempt (80 billable hrs / month). We are seeking a Part-Time Fractional Controller that will focus on our nonprofit clients and join our team! What will I do? Support FFI’s books practice with your excellent accounting and leadership skills. As part of the team, your client responsibilities may include:
Leading the monthly close process and provide controlling oversight
Supporting and mentoring staff
Managing client restricted accounting and related processes
Reviewing client financial reporting
Qualifications and Skills
Love of Balance Sheets (and all financial statements)
CPA Strongly preferred or extensive nonprofit accounting experience
At least 10 years of professional accounting experience
High attention to detail and excellent technical accounting skills
Experience with Quickbooks Online
Or other accounting information systems
Passionate about nonprofits
Delighted by well-designed spreadsheets
Enjoys working with a variety of clients
Proficiency with Google Workspace
