Floating Store Manager

We are looking for a result-driven retail floating Store Manager to assist at all locations to be responsible for the operations and growth of the store. A minimum of 1 year management experience in a retail setting is required. Ultimately, the duties of a manager are to effectively lead their team, while consistently meeting the store’s sales goals.
Responsibilities

Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, disciplining and firing staff at the store
Creating employee schedules, assigning schedules and responsibilities to employees, checking to see if these responsibilities and assignments are carried through in the store
Training new employees and providing ongoing education for employees
Evaluating staff to ensure customer satisfaction is at it's highest
Setting criteria for staff, such as sales performance and customer approval or complaints
Giving staff financial goals and sales targets to meet on a scheduled basis
Managing the store, both retail and company, inventory, including loss prevention through theft and breakage
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on product features
Welcome customers to the store and answer their questions
Follow and achieve sales goals on a daily, monthly & yearly basis
“Go the extra mile” to drive sales
Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
Process POS (point of sale) purchases
Handle sales/exchanges of merchandise
Comply with inventory control procedures

Skills

Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Manager (or Assistant Manager) for at least 1 year
Advanced understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
Availability to work flexible shifts
