Job Description: DOD Active Security Clearance (minimum Secret) Required Provide remote and onsite advanced C4I systems expertise support to the Fleet Marine Force (FMF). Integrators will possess extensive C4I systems and applications integration, interoperability, operational employment, and troubleshooting expertise. Provide discipline-wide knowledge and expertise that spans multiple systems across many official Po R. Provide knowledge and expertise regarding information exchange requirements between multiple systems in specified information flows required by Warfighter functions. Serve as a link between the government personnel and the C4I systems SMEs to ensure that support capabilities are maintained at the level required by the FMF. Systems Integrators will adhere to any applicable SOPs, Quality Assurance Performance standards and be certified and cleared IAW PWS.
Possesses the technical ability to troubleshoot, identify issues, administer systems, install software and hardware, provide technical guidance, integrate systems, support test events and engineering assessments.
Provide informal training (i.e., over-the-shoulder support).
Support at least two (2) currently fielded C4I systems.
Support CONUS, OCONUS, exercise, and contingency requirements.
Develop and document innovative and effective solutions to support the FMF.
Perform C4I system analysis and diagnostics; system set-up in garrison and tactical environments.
Develop trend analysis reports and metrics.
Perform triage analysis to identify and prioritize requests.
Respond to elevated user requests by collecting, analyzing, providing solutions, and ensuring incidents and requests are recorded and tracked in accordance with the MCTSSA Support Center SOP.
Lead incident research teams and mentor Tier 2 Analysts.
Possess a full understanding of the MCTSSA Support Center SOP, QA/QC procedures, Tier 1 responsibilities/duties and how they feed into Tier 2.
Conduct research on emerging technologies.
Author training documentation.
Work with teams to assess issues and provide resolution.
Required Skills:
Experience with AN/PRS-11 Portable Receive Suite.
Experience with USMC fires systems, such as AFATDS, JADOCS, G/ATOR (GB-2), FTAS a plus.
Experience with networking equipment including Cisco switches and routers.
Experience working with customers, addressing issues, and managing customer concerns and requests over the telephone and/or in person.
Strong active listening, data entry, and documentation skills.
Experience writing technical solutions and commercial knowledgebase articles.
Intermediate analytical and troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and consistent resolution of IT problems.
Requirements
TRAVEL REQUIRED FOR POSITION - Must be able to obtain or possess a valid US Passport and by physically qualified to support military exercises and contingency operations.
5+ years in a relevant field
Experience working with customers, addressing issues, and managing customer concerns and requests over the phone and/or in person.
Strong active listening, data entry, and documentation skills.
Experience writing technical solutions and commercial knowledgebase articles.
Intermediate analytical and troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and consistent resolution of IT problems.
Willing to work in a 24x7x365 secured environment, demonstrate intuitive problem-solving skills, and allow for flexible scheduling.
