***This position requires substantial wine and cocktail experience as well as at least one year of fine-dining experience in a restaurant setting.
The ability to promote our wines and cocktails is crucial, so we are looking for candidates with a strong background in this area. Please note, we are seeking someone with established experience and are not in a position to provide extensive training for this role.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for serving food and drinks in line with established guidelines, procedures, and policies for food and beverage safety controls, as prescribed by company standards. This role requires interaction with guests and staff in a cordial, efficient, and professional manner.
Our servers are responsible for ringing in guest checks, handling money, and processing credit card payments according to company policies and procedures. Additionally, the server may be asked to assist with seating guests, clearing and setting tables, and preparing to-go orders.
Our ideal candidate has previous experience handling money and operating point-of-sales (POS) and credit/debit card processing systems and can work a varied schedule, including daytime and weekends. We're looking for a server with open availability during the week and weekends, making it an ideal opportunity for someone seeking to enhance their experience in a full-time serving role. There may be times where you are also asked to work nights, weekends, and holidays if extra help is needed.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, good time management, and professional behavior are all required for this position. The ideal candidate will become knowledgeable of all dishes and drinks to make educated recommendations to our guests. A personable attitude with the ability to work in a high energy, fast paced environment is key to being successful.
