Hobbs Wood Logistics, a Fed Ex contractor, is now hiring Full and some possible part time/weekend delivery drivers in the Eastaboga, Alabama Area.
Drivers will be operating out of the Eastaboga Fed Ex terminal located at 35 Fish Hatchery Ln. Eastaboga, Alabama 36260.
Drivers will be making deliveries to local residences and businesses in and throughout the surrounding areas.
Our drivers will be operating high top extended vans up to P1000 box trucks which are provided by the employer.
CDL License is NOT required!!!
Work Hours: 7:30 am until deliveries are completed. We are a 7 day operation but only require 5 days a week.
Schedules may very as we need people willing to work weekend days.
Pay is by the day: $120-$150 per day depending on experience. Paid Training. Bonus based incentives.
Bonus is based on successful job performance and safety
Must have CLEAN background and motor vehicle record! We go back 10 years. NO violent misdemeanors and or felonies.
MUST BE 21 Or Older!
1 Year of verifiable driving experience for a job in the past 3 years!
Must be able to pass a Drug screen and DOT physical in which is paid by the employer.
Physically able to Lift packages up to 50 lbs. and packages up to 150lbs. with help of a dolly!
Delivery Driver Responsibilities:
Arrive at the Fed Ex Terminal to pickup Vehicle and packages.
Loading and unloading packages from vehicle
Delivering packages to the proper destination
Scanning and logging packages.
