Package Delivery Driver for FedEx Ground Partner w Benefits
Full Speed Transport Inc. – 27 years operating as a Fed Ex Ground Independent Service Provider. Working for FST you are the face of Fed Ex to customers.
You'll start and end your day from the Fed Ex Ground station in Boise. Start time is approx 8:30am - 6:30pmpm. We operate 6x a week including some holidays. We work a 4x10 schedule most of the year. We move to 5x8's during the winter due to lack of light and peak volume.
POSITIONS: FT or PT : Must be able to work at least one weekend day.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
We operate 6 days a week: dispatching from the Fed Ex Ground terminal located at 6610 S Elite Dr, Boise, ID 83716 (Residential and Commercial deliveries in the Boise area). This is more than just a driving job. Building strong relationships with customers will ensure that we continue to deliver an outstanding customer experience. You'll take pride in the service you provide, the uniform you wear, and the vehicle you drive.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- EXPERIENCE (preferable) driving delivery vehicles of like size: (Step Vans, Box Trucks). Previous employment from Amazon/UPS/USPS is a plus
- 21 years or older, pass drug screen and criminal background check.
- Clean driving record/MVR.
- MEC (DOT MED CARD) or able to pass a DOT physical to obtain. We cover initial and renewal costs.
- Neat appearance/well-groomed.
- Ability to maneuver packages up to 70lbs unassisted or up to 150lbs with equipment.
- Positive customer service skills.
- Manage 150+ stops per day and learn multiple routes.
- Paid every Friday by direct deposit.
- Fed Ex Uniforms provided including $100 shoe credit 2x a year. (Spring/Fall)
- Simple IRA with employer contribution up to 3%.
- Premera Blue Cross Medical with VSP Vision and Delta Dental Insurance after 60 days for FT.
- Training pay at $19 per hour, $20 an hour once managing a route independently/efficiently = meeting stops per hour thresholds. Higher pay for learning more routes.
