Job Description Executive Director of a highly functioning Community Action Agency with a local legacy of excellent youth programs and jobs/training programs serving community residents.
Directs all functions of the program in keeping with the overall policies established by the Board of Directors (Board) and in compliance with regulatory guidelines in order that the strategic objectives of the program can be attained.
Provides leadership and direction in ensuring the efficient, economical and effective utilization of resources to meet the identified needs of the community.
Responsible for the overall operations of the program, implementation of established policies and liaison with the Board, the staff and departments (such as Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) and the established Alternative High School) and outside government, community and not-for-profit agencies.
Oversees a staff of 20.
